Atomic Blogging is finally out, and the 3.0 of this great training course does certainly deliver.

Currently, there is a whole bunch of products out there which cover how to blog and how to make money with blogs.

Firstly, i have to agree that this is a very lucrative market and someone getting into blogging might open up a gold mine which can be monetized in various ways.

People need to understand the flexibility and potential of why and how blogging is actually a lucrative thing to do.

When i started getting into this subject i actually started with drupal, which is a CMS, and this is the site you are right now. It ranks good in the search engines and it is certainly a good CMS (which stands for "content management system", by the way).

I ignored wordpress for the longest time - but recently started big time with blogs running under wordpress, i think as of now i own about 200 blogs,mostly all running wordpress.

The sites can be made really, really easy and quick since wordpress got really good, i would NEVER make a CMS based on drupal anymore since its just too "nerdish" with a lot of overhead - WP is way easier to manage.

The best thing about it is that wordpress bis so popular, and there are plugins and themes for any niche, SEO, ads and so forth...and 90% of them are free.

The sites can be monetized with ads from clickbank with CBProads or Adsense - and i especially got big time into what is called Autoblogging, i wrote about this here.

With certain tools a fully complete wordpress blog can be made in a matter of minutes, and i enjoy the number of free plugins for SEO, and all the nice free times which are available.

Now, Atomic Blogging describes all this in detail in a compact format, and Alvin Phang goes into details, whether it concerns hosting, installation of wordpress, monetizing, keyword research, niches, you name it.

Since it takes so little time and work to make a blog i see blogging as a very good way which taps SEVERAL ways of making money with blogs,all at once:

Make a niche site, for example about natural remedies. Throw clickbank ads on it, get your autoblogger plugins and pull health related content.

Make a site about loans or whatever higher paying keywords, and throw adsense on it.

The fact that wordpress is easy to install makes it possible to make MANY "little" blogs in short time. Even if one blog only makes a little change and the occasional clickbank sale - what if you make 100s of blogs or 1000s, like those big earners do like Shoemoney? The answer is: It will become a very profitable hobby.

Now...you can focus on one "big" blog, your main site so to speak. Provide it with unique content, blog until you are blue in the face. Get your word out and make it interesting. You can still have 100 "little" sites on the side which pull auto content, as an additional income.

It doesnt need more than a few dollars per month for blog-hosting and a domain, and a little knowledge how to set-up, but it is certainly nothing only for nerds since everyone can do it and the learning curve is not that steep, eg. compared to drupal.
