CBProAds, Again. This time it's a Problem.

CBProAds Problem

As much as i love CBProAds - the guys over there need to do something or i need to think about alternatives.

Occasionally it happens that their ad server is down, mostly on the weekend.

If CBProAds server is down, ALL my sites with CBProads on them are basically "down" since the sites are trying to connect to their adserver, basically frozen for a minute or two.

This affects this site, the forum and about 20 other blogs where i have CBProads running, and this is BAD.

I really hope that CBProAds gets their problems straightened out. And, by the way. Of all my +/-200 sites, this site (www.1up-seo.com) is the only one where Google's AdSense would not show. I have no idea why.

Also, yesterday i updated the forum to the latest SMF RC1 - of course one plugin was broken and i had to hand edit SQL to get my "prettyurls" SEO plugin working again. This is a fix the coder of prettyurls could fix in ONE minute in his code. I just dont understand why some programmers are so lazy.

I am also pretty surprised to see that the webmaster forum actually starts to receive some traffic. I never really expected this forum to get any traffic, and now it starts to become very interesting. I also hugely neglected the forum in the past, i am aware that it needs more attention and i might add some more boards today, mainly for blogging and maybe an advertising section.

SMF is not a bad forum software, i think it is on par with VBulletin.

(Still angry at CBProads, if i hate one thing its getting up in the morning and see the majority of sites down....)
