A Good Keyword Search Tool
If you are doing Internet Marketing you want a keyword search tool. We will prove to you why, and how it can help in whether your article marketing or website or adwords campaign will be successful - or not.
You can use keyword research software to weed out non profitable keywords beforehand - and you can actually (to a certain extent) predict whether your site or article will rank high in Google, with the proper researched keyword!
The proof is in the fact that i just did keyword research and found that the phrase keyword search tool has actually potential to rank high. So we can use this blog entry as proof that it works :)
According to research, this keyword has 487 searches in google, and it has 43.200 competing sites for this phrase - which would make it ideal to try this experiment.
For keyword research, i am using keyword elite or market samurai. I am shooting for at least 100 daily searches, better 200 daily searches.
You found a very good keyword if the competing sites in google are below 30.000...but i think it's still worth a try shooting for higher numbers, like 50.000 or maybe up to 100.000 competing sites.
Now, you can also use the external Google keyword tool which is very good for brainstorming and finding niches. You just enter a phrase and let it run. Feel free to pick other phrases and see what keywords the Google tool comes up with.
For more serious research you want a keyword search tool like keyword elite which you can get HERE or Market Samurai or Micro Niche Finder.
Such a tool then has many more options for filtering. As a rule: In your keyword research you want keywords which are worth it, not the keywords with only 10 searches per day, but if possible 150-200 daily searches. Then filter out how many competing sites are popping up, and if its below 75.000 you have a pretty good chance to rank your site or article high..and if its below 40.000 sites its almost a given you will rank.
Now, you found a good keyword...and then you can start writing articles and put them on ezine articles, or you can make a site and "optimize" the site for the keyword. For the ezine articles, make sure you mention the keyword you found in the title then in the first paragraph, as well as a couple or so times in the body, as well as at the end of the article.
For your sites, about the same principles apply. Make sure to use the profitable keyword in the title, make sure it is mentioned in H1 tags (in your headline on the site)...maybe in bold once also. But dont make your site look spammy, and keep keyword density below 2%. This is, mention the keyword once every 50-100 words.
And then, once you rank #1 you will see it is defintly worth to get a keyword search tool!
