Some odd results are coming up in Google's Keyword Tool ...   

I noticed something odd, and here is an example what happens if you search for "vista" or "windows".

Here you see that for the term "vista" the avg search volume for November and Dezember is reported SIGNIFICANTLY lower than in the months before. Notice the extreme drop.

This is not specific to certain words, but this you can see with various other keywords, i am just using "Vista" and "Windows" as example because its often searched for phrases:

Same thing with when i enter "Windows" in the tool, a SHARP drop in November and December.

Now let's enter...."blogging":

Same thing. Just to prove its not keyword related, but this happens throughout the bank.

Google Keyword tool must be off, and this behavior we can see with any keyword as long as you use broad and phrase matching. If we use exact matching the search results look normal:

I have an odd feeling because this basically makes keyword research impossible, at least for "broad" and "phrase" matching...i have no idea why the search volume for ANY given word is supposed to be way lower in November  an December, as opposed to the months before.

This is either a glitch in Google....or something happened in November/December causing a HUGE loss in search volume in Google.

Other oddities - what people search for on Google. We enter "how to"just like that, and we want to see what "how to phrases" people look on google most. Did you know that Drugs is a particular goodmarket (uh, well, surprise)...but #4 in total search results for "how to" is indeed "how to make meth" <---

Aside from rather obvious searches, and things which are hard to monetize, do you know there is a HUGE, HUGE demand of people who want to make paper airplanes... or want to master the art of origami?

I kid you not. As said, those are usa-tailord search results for "how to", and asides from youtube, crack, weed and meth paper airplanes and origami are right there on top of all searches! I think this is utterly amazing. I had fun making paper airplanes in school, all right. I remember i got detention because the teachers didnt like it. But, aside from memories at my time in school - we have a  huge market here, i kid you not! Google shows it!
