I recently purchased Scrapebox which is a fantastic all-around SEO tool which certainly *can* also be used for blackhat SEO purposes - and white hat as well.

I need to say that this tool is *at least* on par with SENuke/Xrumer and it can make other tools like RSSBot look old and redundant. The flexibility and power of scrapebox are just out of this world.

Scrapebox incorporates several blackhat, grayhat and whitehat tools in one, and to give you an idea what it can do, here a small list:

It can harvest and scrape Google using any kind of filter, footprint or keyword. It can be used to search for high PR blogs matching a keyword. It has built in blog commenter which works with wordpress, moveable type, blogengine. It can post 1000s of comments in a mere seconds. It's scary.

It can auto-submit RSS feeds like RSSBot....and it can spam trackback comments and pings. I have seen reports by people who used it who gained significant SERPs within a few days by simple doing referrer/ping spam. It could be used to create artificial inflate traffic to articles or websites with whatever referrer site you specifiy.

The fact that its ultra flexible makes it also a white-hat tool since you can use whatever criteria/footprint and then harvest URLs according to whatever criteria. You could then simply go to those blogs after you filtered their PR and enter legit comments on those blogs.

Needless to say that scrapebox also supports proxies, and it can use Google, Yahoo, Bing etc. Its a very powerful tool and i own it for a few days now, it's amazing what it can do if you know WHAT to do with :)

I recommend seeing their site and watch some videos. This is (IMHO) a tool which NO blackhat or whitehat SEO can NOT afford NOT to have, and it has its place with top tools like SENuke or Xrumer, no doubt. Furthermore, the programmer updates and adds features almost every day, sometimes he does several updates and enhancements per day.
