If you want to get more twitter followers, here a simple tip.

You make a blog with wordpress and you use one of those "autoblog plugins", like WP Autoblog or YAAB or you you use "feedwordpress". This is a wordpress plugin for autoblogging using RSS feeds.

On my example site above i use Feedwordpress. And now here's the trick:

You get the latest hot gossip and news on your blog automatically. You can do this manually by going to Google Trends and check for the current trends and manually make posts in regards to those trend keywords.

I used my very own "Hotfeed" tool which you can find here!

What does Hotfeed? Hotfeed automatically fetches the current trend keyword, turns them into RSS feeds with content matching the trend keywords!! You then use the Hotfeed RSS URI and plug it into your Feedwordpress on Wordpress.

What happens: You get a autoblog which will always have the latest news, trends and headlines on your blog!

But..this is not even the kicker. The twist now is to install ANOTHER plugin on your "hot" wordpress blog: Twitter Poster

This then will tweet each new post to your twitter account. And since your new blog will always have the hottest gossip and news on it this will guarantee you LOTS of visitors and followers.

In the few days i tested this i had several HUNDRED new followers/day. The example site is a total trash site (excuse my expression, but it is). So i made it like a "tabloid" site. Right now i have 15.000 pages indexed in Google and currently i am getting 500-600 uniques day. And i just started this trick with "Twitter Poster" and i still have ways to go!

This is a fantastic "trick" i got from warrior forum. I used this blog as a "demo blog" for "hotfeed"..but i never thought about re-tweeting to twitter. It rocks!

So..this trick not only gives you more twitter followers - but it also increases traffic to your website!
